Welcome to COP SQUAD!
COP SQUAD is a live door game which is fast-paced and fun to play.
The following is a quick set of instructions on how to play the game. I won't
(obviously) tell you all the "tricks" of the game but will tell you enough to
make it enjoyable for you.
Starting the game:
------------------
When you log onto the game for the first time you will be given a badge number,
uniform, etc. You will also be given $500 in cash. Your rank will be that of
"ROOKIE" (level 1). There are 13 levels of play with the goal to become the
"CHIEF OF POLICE" (level 13).
Common sense is a plus in this game as it is an attribute that all good police
officers have. You will need to acquire your own weapon(s), ammunition, and
other police equipment.
Daily playing of the game:
--------------------------
The object of the game is to go on patrol each day and interact with the
criminals. If you know a little bit about real crimes (for example, arson and
rape are felonies while littering is a misdemeanor) it will help you in this
game. You will acquire or lose points based on what you do or don't do in most
every aspect of the game. You may not be told that you have received points
or had points deducted from you but a check of your STATS or the Player's
Scoreboard will show your current points at anytime in the game.
It is best to play each day in order to remain ahead of the other players in
your quest to become the Chief of Police. The game is a continual one which
will not require resetting. It will be noted on the "Player's Score" screen how
many times you have won the game.
If you are killed by a criminal, you will be unable to play any more that day.
Your character will again be activated the next day.
Be careful of IAD investigators. They seem to be everywhere!
A good police officer must use logic and reasoning and your police character
in this game is no exception.
This game tries to imitate real life in many instances. For example, you will
notice the time of your patrolling will be the actual time you are playing
the game (in military time, of course).
Don't forget that while it is nice to have the added firepower of an MP-5
machine pistol, it ALSO uses much more ammunition. Every time you squeeze the
trigger, it will fire 3 rounds (shots). It will expend ammunition quickly so
be sure to have plenty on hand.
The game is self-instructional in the fact that it is menu-driven. You can
only make one of the choices available on the screen however where you go in
the game is strictly up to you and what you think is best for your character.
I will continue adding features to this game as time goes on. There are MANY
additions that are slated for future editions! Please watch for them. I thank
you for playing COP SQUAD!
